Associate Membership:
Details
A person may be admitted as an associate member if they have the relevant qualifications and skills to work in the mental health support industry (e.g., counsellor, psychologist, social worker, mental health nurse, care and support worker, advocacy worker, behavioural support specialists, etc), but may not yet have secured employment in the industry.
Benefits of Membership
As an associate member, you will have access to members-only content, including discounted professional development, discounted liability and indemnity insurance, and access to supervision services. When you are successfully employed within the mental health support industry, and you provide evidence of that employment, you will be automatically upgraded to full member upon application.
